Jaime Robb

Jaime Robb is a Doctoral Student in the Department of Communication at the University of South Florida. As a student of Communication scholarship, he is constantly wrapped within the theories and criticism put forth by Kenneth Burke. With a general interest in community as a sense making process and the discourse surrounding virtual communities, Robb focuses on the principles of hierarchy that seem to be central in the construction of identities located at the base of a social order. His master’s thesis honed in on how sports fans go about constructing a version of community within the virtual space.
